The National Bank of Augusta stock certificate circa 1865 (Georgia)

Incorporated in 1865, the bank provided savings and loans in the city of Augusta, Georgia.  The bank also printed and distributed US currency from 1885 until 1912. In June 1912, the Citizens and Southern Bank bought controlling interest and liquidated the company.
