Great top center vignette of an oxen driven cart. The bottom smaller engraving is the GA state seal. Unissued and not cancelled. Circa 1865 from company records.
Incorporated in 1865, the bank provided savings and loans in the city of Augusta, Georgia. The bank also printed and distributed US currency from 1885 until 1912. In June 1912, the Citizens and Southern Bank bought controlling interest and liquidated the company.
