Sure Thing Investment Club stock certificate 1976 (Pennsylvania)

Fun investment collectible. Great vignette of perched American Eagle with wings spread holding arrows and olive branches.  Dated 1976. Two certificates available: (1) Cert #4. Issued and not cancelled. (2) Cert #6. Issued and marked VOID across the face.

Incorporated in 1976 in PA. It is believed that the company was formed to pool money of its members for investing strategies. The "sure thing" was probably just a humorous play on words and not a promise on returns.  The company is still listed as active by the state of Pennsylvania. The company was successful enough to provide charity donations to local causes.
