Smith Motor Truck Corporation stock certificate 1918

Plain but large collectible temporary stock certificate from a very early truck body manufacturer.  Great automotive historical item.  Issued and cancelled. Dated 1918.

Incorporated in 1916 in Virginia (but based in Chicago), the company made a "Form A Truck" conversion units which made hauling capability from converting car bodies.  The kits were sold for $350 in 1918.  They made over 20,000 kits per year at one time.
