National Fireproofing 1950's (made hollow fire brick)
Product Description
National Fireproofing stock certificate 1950's
Unusual company stock with a stunning vignette of bricklayer and pipeline in front of the Pittsburgh skyline. Issued and cancelled. Dated 1950's. Great collector piece for the financial art.
National Fireproofing Company specialized in hollow firebrick (as shown in the vignette), later changed its name to National Automatic Tool Corporation, better known as NATCO. in 1964. NATCO merged with Carlton Tools to become NATCO-Carlton in 1991. Eventually, this maker of radial and spindle arm drill presses was taken over by Lucas Precision.
