The Montana Phonograph Company sold phonographs for the North American Phonograph Company in the early 1890s un til 1929. Based in Helena, the company was founded by Frank Buser and was taken over by Parchen Drug Company but continued to operate selling an Edison Phonograph line.
Henry M. Parchen was involved in a wide variety of business in Helena, Montana. Collection includes personal papers, and records of the Parchen Drug Company, the Helena Cab Company, the Helena Motor Company, the Lakeview Land and Boating Company, and the Montana Phonograph Company.
This collection is divided into five subgroups: Parchen Drug Company, Helena Cab Company, Helena Motor Company, Lakeview Land and Boat Company, and Montana Phonograph Company.
