Baldwin Oil Corporation stock certificate 1923

Stunning collectible stock with multiple colors and triple vignette. Green borders and yellow background.  Three vignettes include buffalo at lower right, American Indian chief at the lower left, and great eagle seated with American flag and shield in front of the Capitol building.  Issued and cancelled. Dated 1923.  Rare piece.

Incorporated in 1921, the company drilled for oil in the Midwest with many rig operations in Northeastern Kansas (Baldwin oil field) near Olathe.  Company operated drilling equipment, recovery, storage, and initial refining.
